Pinot Noir - Humboldt County wine

Pinot Noir
Sangiacomo Vineyards, Carneros Appellation
2001

Integrated, complex, soft.  Cherry and violets in the nose give way to ripe strawberry flavor with earthy undertones and a little brown sugar barrel sweetness.  Barrel-aged 14 months, decant this wine and drink now to 2012.

Pinot Noir
Rainbo Vineyard, Humboldt County
2008

This wine is a full, fruit-forward pinot with bright acidity and tart raspberry flavor.  Red fruit and floral notes give way to silky tannins and a mouth-cleansing finish.
