2001 Pinot Noir ~ Sangiacomo Vineyard, Carneros Region. Integrated, complex, soft.  Cherry and violets in the nose give way to ripe strawberry flavor with earthy undertones and a little brown sugar barrel sweetness.  Barrel-aged 14 months, decant this wine and drink now to 2012.
