2009 ~ Dry and mouth-filling, with subtle sweetness of bartlet pear, and steely minerality that reminds you chardonnay is one of the primary grapes used to make champagne. The finish is rich and nutty. An excellent food wine. Pair with salads, fresh vegetables from the garden, walnuts and creamy cheeses.
2008 Chardonnay, Humboldt County. Organically grown grapes from Pierce Family Farms. A crisp chardonnay with subtle presence of oak. Grapefruit on the nose gives way to tart apple and pear flavors with a light buttery finish. Very easy to drink.
